About Best In Resin

Resin specialists, plain and simple

We are an independent resin business based in Barnoldswick, Lancashire, built around knowing resin inside out and helping people use it well.

Our story

Built on knowing resin, and sharing what we know

Best In Resin is run by Stephen Heap from a workshop in Barnoldswick. Resin is not a sideline here, it is the whole business, and that focus shapes everything we do.

Over time that work has grown into four connected areas: repairing rotten timber with epoxy, supplying resin to trade and public, stocking art and craft supplies for makers, and laying resin-bound surfaces. What ties them together is the material and a simple belief that the right advice is worth as much as the product itself.

We would rather spend five minutes helping you choose correctly than sell you the wrong thing twice. It is a quieter way to do business, and it is the one we stand by.

What we stand for

How we like to work

A few principles that guide every enquiry, whether it is a single craft kit or a workshop full of rotten joinery.

The right product for the job

We steer you to the resin and approach that genuinely fits, not the most expensive thing on the shelf.

Straight talking

If a repair is not worth doing, or a surface is not suited to an area, we will tell you plainly.

Quality that lasts

We work with materials chosen for a dependable cure and a clean, hard-wearing finish.

Trade and public, treated the same

A hobbyist after one kit gets the same care as a tradesperson ordering by the pallet.
